Joe Harris is currently studying at Harrogate College on the Extended Diploma in Art and Design.
“I chose the course because we study a wide variety of topics, from photography to graphic design, so you can really get a feeling for what you enjoy and what you’re good at. There is so much scope for development.”
Living in Knaresborough, Joe picked Harrogate College due to the facilities.
“I chose Harrogate College because of the fantastic resources available in the art department. I’m hoping to get into photography and the studios available are just second to none!”
As a former King James’s School student, Joe arrived at College with a keen interest in the arts and already has his future planned out.
“In the future, I’d like to go to the London College of Fashion to study for a degree in Fashion Photography. Ideally I’d like to see myself working for a top fashion magazine!”
“I’ve met some fantastic friends on the course and at College itself, and my knowledge of fashion photography has already grown massively.”
During his short time on the course, Joe has already taken part in a variety of skills competitions and tasks, including pitching Halloween themed décor ideas to The Yorkshire Hotel.
