Construction students collecting tools for WORKAID

Harrogate College Construction students are working alongside charity WORKAID to collect unwanted and disused tools and equipment that can be refurbished and sent to Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya and Zambia.

These tools will help to support colleges in African in training young people to be able to do such things are repair houses, cars, become carpenters and bore holes to access fresh water that can be pumped to the community.

The WORKAID HUB in Chesham UK is a supported workshop for people with mild to moderate learning disabilities and is where the team sort the tools and equipment, before sending them to be used in Africa.

The students of Harrogate College are supporting WORKAID by collecting any unwanted tools and construction equipment that could be made use of elsewhere. If you have a shed full of items you no longer use, please bring them to Harrogate College!
