Meet Chris Walsh- Tutor on A Taste of India / 6 week cooking course starting w/c 18 April / £180

Chris WalshWith over 30 years in the Catering and Hospitality industry, Chris Walsh has a vast amount of experience under his belt, working in well- established restaurants such as Weetwood Hall, The Old Swan Hotel, Bistro Pierre and Mitchell’s in Glasgow.

Chris began his career at Bradford and Ilkley College before stepping out and straight into a full time position at the Hilton in Bradford where he worked his way up to head chef, moving onto pastures new after 11 years. After working in a number of other establishment as Head Chef for a further 12 years, Chris decided to branch out as a freelance chef, now working for The Majestic Hotel and Kings Catering, on projects such as The Great Yorkshire Show whilst of course tutoring at Harrogate College.

In amongst this, Chris’ passion for Indian food was growing, and after travelling through parts of India and cheffing in an Indian restaurant, he has picked up an eclectic repertoire of dishes that he is eager to pass onto his students.
