Leeds garage donates car to Harrogate Motor Vehicle workshops

Students studying on the Motor Vehicle courses at Harrogate College will return after the Easter break to find a brand new car in the workshop, donated by Leeds business M&T Autos.

M&T Autos

With over 50 years experience in the Motor Industry, M&T Autos is a family run business at the heart of the local community and recognise that training students within the industry is vital.

“We’re extremely happy to have been able to donate a car to the Harrogate College Motor Vehicle workshops, as we understand that students can’t learn without the necessary tools!” – Emilio Marshall, M&T Autos.

“It’s fantastic that local businesses are willing to donate vehicles to our workshops and we’re very grateful to M&T Autos for doing so. We’re always looking for new vehicles for our students to practice on so it’s wonderful to see a local business supporting the students and training that we provide.” – Howard Wallace, course tutor.

The Motor Vehicle tutors will use the car to put faults on, allowing the students to run diagnostics to assess the issue and fix it, providing fundamental skills for a lifelong career in the industry.

If you’re thinking of scrapping a car, then don’t! With prices at the scrap yard currently so low, please donate your car to our Motor Vehicle workshops instead where it will be put to good use! Please call 01423 879466.
