“It’s fantastic that the team at Hampsthwaite Garage are so willing and keen to have the students through their doors to complete their work experience. They’re really excellent teachers and their facilities are second to none so the students benefit greatly.” – Howard Wallace, Motor Vehicle tutor.

Having worked with the college for the past three years, tutors such as Howard Wallace enjoy a strong partnership with the owners of Hampsthwaite Garage, John and Mark.

Co-Owner Mark said: “Our current placement Alan is doing extremely well. He always thinks ahead to the next job, whether that be getting equipment ready, tidying up as he goes or systematically assessing a situation before he can continue with a job. Alan is a credit to Harrogate College and is coming on leaps and bounds. We’re already looking forward to next year!”
