BBC film crew making documentary about Harrogate College student

The BBC are making a new documentary following the journey and life of a refugee from the Calais Jungle.

Trafi, who is only 17 years old was first discovered in the Calais Jungle by the crew last year, when they were filming their critically acclaimed documentary, ‘Exodus’, and they were bowled over by his charm and charisma, so much so that he is now the subject of a documentary about his life.

Trafi has begun his journey, moving to England, settling in Harrogate and now embarking on an ESOL course at Harrogate College to help improve his English, so Tuesday 31st January was the start of a new era for him when he arrived at college on his bicycle, ready to enrol.

The documentary is due to be aired in the Autumn, so we look forward to following Trafi’s journey!
