Harrogate College’s Careers Advisor Kali Case-Leng was last week invited in to hold a discussion with Level 3 Business Students, about the effect Brexit will have on the jobs market.
Kali encouraged the students to think about their futures, career prospects and skills that will be needed in the next five to ten years. The group were given examples of careers and given the opportunity to talk about how those careers have changed over the years, and how they will continue to change.
One example by course tutor Jo Denver, was teaching. Jo explained that tutors and teachers can now use Video Conferencing to support and teach students from long distance, across multiple locations, at the same time.
